Overview

CentOS Linux reached its end of life on December 31st 2021. https://www.centos.org/centos-linux-eol/

We have chosen to release SFTP Gateway version 3.2.1 on Ubuntu 20.04.

Unfortunetely, there is no direct upgrade path, so it will require a migration.

Linux OS options

SFTP Gateway version 2.x is currently on CentOS 7, which has an EOL of June 2024.

SFTP Gateway version 3.002.00 and prior were on CentOS 8. Unfortunately, CentOS 8 reached its EOL on December 31, 2021. This has to do with IBM cutting short RedHat's original support plan (which was 2029).
